Navigating between things was single click. Video could be annotated with text or arrows or anything. Flash became my goto software because video played without crashing. Or you couldn’t get it to play on more than one monitor at a time. Video had to be formatted to very specific formats and it was cumbersome. In 2006 when I first started using Flash, PPT was very limited. Even video and audio can reliably play some of the time. It can be edited on the fly and just about every location anywhere has PPT installed so you can just bring a thumb drive with your dot PPT. If I only need some text and some pictures, PPT couldn’t possibly be easier. Some people may even say that Powerpoint is the only software anyone needs for anything. Some people may argue that it does everything. Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. I have been using Flash or Animate for creating trial exhibits for over 12 years.
